After a wonderful week in Alaska, we came home for a few weeks and then headed up to Provo to witness the birth of our 4th grandchild-Lyla Luekenga weighing in at 7 lbs. 14 oz. and 20 1/2 inches tall! She is a beautiful mix of both her mom and dad and just so sweet and lovable! Life doesn't get any better than this! With 2 grand boys and 2 grand girls-we are now ready to shop! It's hard to believe that our babies are having babies now! It is extremely rewarding and we can't wait to see what's next! So fun for Cami and Kalei to have cousins together and we look forward to all the family fun we will get to experience!!! Nana and Papa-here we come! Thanks girls for making us PROUD!!!!! LOVE YA

The fishing outing in Alaska...
The best part of the fishing trip was the scenery and how we were entertained by an eagle soaring down next to our boat to catch its lunch... our fish!! It was amazing and we got to witness it several times. Hope you can see the eagle in the photos.
It was a beautiful warm day and it reminded me of being in Fishlake.
Our "big" catch of the day!!! haha

Kimball's favorite outing was the TRAIN RIDE in Skagway. We went up the mountain and were taught about gold mining and how they built the railroad to carry the gold from the mines. It was a beautiful ride and our favorite part was standing outside between the cars and taking pictures of the scenery.

Grandma sleeping....

MY most thrilling adventure was the helicopter ride to the top of a GLACIER.... Hebert. (named after my grandpa, well we can pretend right!?)
I felt like I was floating in the clouds up to the moon! (check out my MOON BOOTS!)
It was a beautiful ride and the only scary part is when I asked who one of the girls was on the helicopter and they told me, she was the PILOT! I didn't dare ask how old she was until we landed safely.
Juneo, Alaska is beautiful. When we got on top of the Glacier, the pilot told us to NOT walk where the snow was pure white or we might sink to the bottom. It was amazing standing on top of a glacier and I had to share the moment and take pictures on my cell phone and call my kids!
Later I found out the our pilot was ONLY 23 years old! ( i have a daughter that age!) She did a fabulous job, we made it all alive and had a great time. She even filled up my water bottle with glacier water! We gathered up Glacier rocks to bring home to our son-in-laws. ha Great present right!? ha

THANKS again Grandma and Grandpa for the GREAT TRIP :)
