Poulson family update...

A lot has happened in the Poulson Family but we've been a little slow at updating.... so here are a few events that has happened this year so far....

**Kalei was married to Jake Luekenga on April 30th 2008. It was a beautiful day and everything went so Perfect. They are so happy and so good for each other. We love them both are are so happy for them. They were married in the Salt Lake City Temple at 11am followed by a luncheon at Memorial Grove Park at 2:00. They had a catered pasta buffet, which was yummy. Later they had a program which both families talked about Kalei and Jake and they showed their wedding video. A lot of planning always goes into a wedding and it turned out wonderful and we had a great time. CONGRATS TO KALEI AND JAKE WE LOVE YOU.

Here a few pictures from their special day....

Pictures are coming...
Still waiting to get them from Kalei

Pre-wedding events.....
We had a couple bridal shower for Kalei, one at Cami's house and the other At Debbie Christensen's house. We had a great time showering her with gifts. Thanks to all that helped out with it and for making Kalei feel so special.

Here are a few photos....

When Kalei and Jake got their engagements taken, we all were there for the occasion! It was fun to watch. they are both so photogenic and are such a cute couple! here are a few random pictures from that day...

**Next, Chelsi has graduated from esthetician school!!! We are so proud of her and love her very much. She has been one busy girl, from finishing up with Cosmetology school in January, she moved to St. George to start Esthetician school and was finished in May. Chels you have worked so hard and we are so happy for you. She is living in Richfield working with her mother at Salon 56. she is having fun.
Another thing is she has now passed both her Cosmetology AND Estetician tests!! They are VERY hard tests and she spent lots of hours studying but it has paid off and we are SO proud of her. GOOD JOB CHELSI

Here are a few pictures of Chelsi at her Graduation...

The boy in the last picture would be Jake Anderson. Chelsi and him have been dating now for 7 months and he is a great guy. He treats her good and that is all that matters!

There has been 2 additions to the Poulson family... James and Cami had their TWINS on September 25th and they are doing great. They named them Adam Klar and Abigail Mae Graham. Their middle names are after their great-grandparents Klar and Mable Jorgensen (Cindy's parents) Adam weighed 5lbs 15oz and was 20 inches long and Abby was 5lbs 14 oz 19 inches long. They were born heathy and Cami is doing great and recovery well. They have moved to Richfield and they are doing good. Their little Parker is now 3 years old and he has done great with the twins, he is a great big brother and loves his little brother and sister! It's a little busy at their house but it has been great as Papa and Nana live close and can go visit their 3 grand children anytime they want!! Cami is our only hope so we are glad they have chosen to live close to us. If it is a short period or long, we are happy they are here! They are great parents and love their 3 kids so much.
Here are a few pictures....

Also, Jakelle is a photographer and has been doing it for awhile now. She has a website now so check it out and if you ever need pictures wedding/baby/family etc feel free to call her, she'd love to take your pictures!!!
Her website is: www.purephotogallery.com

PALM SPRINGS CALIFORNIA

For Christmas Mom and Dad gave all of us kids an All Expense Paid Trip To Palm Springs California. We were all excited to go as we were leaving the day after Christmas and staying for 4 days. The best part was everyone was able to go except for Jarick because he had to catch his flight back to Boston. We all rode in the same car all the way to Cali, we were crammed in there but we had a fun trip down with a few stops on the way. We pulled into the resort pretty late so we all went to bed getting some rest for the next day. The resort was called, Palm Springs Canyon Resort and Spa. It was beautiful and some of the amenities included: 2 huge pools with slides, hot tubs, basketball court, gym facility, pool table, ping pong table and a spa room. We all had a great time. We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool and just hanging out. We'd go to dinner in town at night and walk around the shops. We went to a place called boomers one night and we played miniature golf, rode go-carts and played arcade games. Thanks to our parents we had a blast, it was a wonderful vacation spent with family and the best Christmas present ever!!
THANKS MOM AND DAD

JORGENSEN CHRISTMAS PARTY

This year we had Jorgensen Christmas Party at the Bowling Alley. We were able to spend time with family, eat lots of good food and bowl as much as we wanted too!! Everyone helped with the food, bringing their famous soup, appetizer or salad. We had a great time, mingling with everyone is always fun then eating dinner, yummy as always. The cousin present exchange was next as the singles and young kids are apart of this. Santa came later and all the kids got to sit on his lap. But all and all it was good to see family we don't see everyday. It was nice to have Jarick with us, to spend time with him since he lives so far away. Grandpa J was there in his big chair so we got to spend time talking with him too. He still has his humor, doesn't say a lot but when he does it sure is funny! It's not the same without Grandma around but we do have a great family and it is all because of her! The party was great and it brought the Christmas spirit near as it was only 2 days before Christmas plus it's always nice spending time with loved ones.
